It's here! My favorite Catholic tradition from my childhood! Everyone I grew up with always gave up something for Lent, so I always do too! Just a nice 40 day show of self-control.
This year it's chocolate.
NO CHOCOLATE FOR 40 DAYS
I made this resolution knowing full well Faye's birthday cake is chocolate. See? I'm that dedicated. :)

Whoa!!!!! Um, I think you should give a post a week just updating on how you are doing with your sacrifice of chocolate for forty days! That's a lofty goal.
So, did you just participate with your Catholic friends for fun or are you a convert or....? I think it's a great tradition/practice in their religion. Lent, that it.

I think your blog is really cute. We've been following it now for about a year and a half, hopefully that does not creep you out.
And, we were going to come to your wedding, when we had complications with our pregnancy at the time. Sad.

I also don't understand why you don't have more comments on your blog because it's so cute, sweet, short and to the point. I love it.
